stop saying
"it cannot be done !"
or
"it is ONLY what i say it is, and nothing more !"
or
"here is 500 unhelpful lines of wordage, for why it CANNOT be real !"
or
"you are sharing your information for free, out of a desire to selflessly help the world.
but your information disagrees with my personal opinion of what the world is, so i am going to attack you and discourage you !"
or worst of all
"you should give up on your project, and your dreams !"
all of those responses, are more than 100% useless.
because they will NEVER help anyone.
yet they they will HINDER information and projects, that could help someone.
and the more beneficial the project could be when finished, the more destructive hindering it becomes.
a negative attitude only steals from you.
and destroys useful things.
and demotivates others.
a positive attitude only helps you.
and protects useful things.
and encourages others.
so be negative less often, and be positive more often.
You are totally right. I am now a lot more encouraged, to keep plugging at my personal pet project.
I know that if I can just find a way to do it, the method could be used for all kinds of great things, including making running magnet motors, gravity engines, and other free energy devices.
I've tried an awful lot of different methods, though, and I've not made much progress. I don't even like to talk about it much, because of the things you've pointed out. It's really discouraging when people keep telling me, "Forget about it, it's impossible, it can't be done."
But I know I can do it if I just keep trying different things. After all, my theory of integer cloning says it should be possible, and I actually heard about someone who knew someone who saw a YouTube video (since taken down) of someone who did it. So I just keep on trying, and someday I just know I (or someone like me) will be able to add three plus three and get seven.
I agree with TK.
If you give a hundred Monkeys a loaded gun then one of them is bound to figure it out and shoot it, I don't want to be around when it happens.

if electricity is catching ambient energy as it passes, than 3 + 3 can definitely be made to = 7.
the universe is full of energy. every square inch of it is soaked in usable energy.
it is only a matter of figuring out how to collect it.
not IF. only HOW.

You should probably read TK's post again.
And regarding the monkeys, that is a really bad analogy. There is the assumption that you have a working gun, and the mechanism is simple to fire.
Now take the same gun and put a simple combination lock on the mechanism, say with 3 digits, from 1-10. In theory, it would only take 1000 combinations to unlock the trigger and fire the gun. But yet I bet you could give 1000 monkeys 1000 years, and they would not be able to do it (they would simply stop messing with the gun after a few minutes and never bother again).
You are probably referring to the old monkeys, typewriter, and works of shakespeare theorem:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinite_monkey_theorem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinite_monkey_theorem)
Actually, if you assume a monkey that will actually diligently type at random, not get tired or bored, and does not need to sleep or take breaks, the odds are against you.'
Apparently, simply to type out the word "banana" on a 50 key typewriter is a one in 15 million chance, so even to get a simple sentence correct would probably exceed the time we have here on earth.
I guess what I am saying is that monkey are better off doing other things that trying to write shakespeare, and maybe so are we. Additionally because there is not even a 1 in 15 million shot. The odds of 3+3 ever equaling 7 is exactly zero.
Hi utilitarian.
I really didn't think anybody would take an analogical idiom that far, lol.
TK is good folk, It doesn't matter what anyone says.
Good luck and have fun.
ready for that beer yet TK?

You know we receive an education in the schools from books. All those books that people became educated from twenty-five years ago, are wrong now, and those that are good now, will be wrong again twenty-five years from now. So if they are wrong then, they are also wrong now, and the one who is educated from the wrong books is not educated, he is misled. All books that are written are wrong, the one who is not educated cannot write a book and the one who is educated, is really not educated but he is misled and the one who is misled cannot write a book which is correct.
The misleading began when our distant ancestors began to teach their descendants. You know they knew nothing but they passed their knowledge of nothing to the coming generations and it went so innocently that nobody noticed it. That is why we are not educated.
Now I will tell you what education is according to my reasoning. An educated person is one whose senses are refined. We are born as brutes, we remain and die as the same if we do not become polished. But all senses do not take polish. Some are to coarse to take it. The main base of education is one's "self-respect". Any one lacking self-respect cannot be educated. The main bases of self-respect is the willingness to learn, to do only the things that are good and right, to believe only in the things that can be proved, to possess appreciation and self control.
Now, if you lack willingness to learn, you will remain as a brute and if you do things that are not good and right, you will be a low person, and if you believe in things that cannot be proved, any feeble minded person can lead you, and if you lack appreciation, it takes away the incentive for good doing and if you lack self control you will never know the limit.
So all those lacking these characteristics in their makeup are not educated.

Likewise, what you just said here is a form of teaching, and if it appeared in a book, it would be "education from books", and therefore it will also be wrong in 25 years, so why should we believe you now?

Hi are you taking to me or to ED , actually its not a question of believing you can prove it to your self , he only showed us how ...
The man never said "it cannot be done !" he built a castle alone and never had to pay for electricity ...

i think your calculations on odds are a bit off utilitarian. i wonder if you'd bet the farm (that was classic by the way) again?
http://www.ted.com/talks/brian_cox_on_cern_s_supercollider.html
"saturn 5 rockets and sputnik and dna and literature and science... these are the things hydrogen atoms do when given 13.7 billion years... absolutely remarkable."
i think you underestimate monkeys.
those monkey examples do not describe technological researchers.
because the monkeys have very little understanding of cause and effect.
and no idea what so ever, of what they are trying to accomplish.
a real technological researcher, is a person uses the information that they know/suspect,
to form an educated guess.
an educated guess, IS WHAT THE RESEARCHER KNOWS.
it is the researchers UNDERSTANDING.
if the researcher is too afraid to make an educated guess, than they will know nothing.
and bask in ignorance.
nothing is ever proven.
everything is merely an educated guess.
gravity, the day after tomorrow, your life, and reality, are all nothing but educated guesses.
the more accurately you can make educated guesses, the better a researcher you are.
the more accurately you can make educated guesses, the firmer your grasp on reality.
a person who insists on "physical proof", is merely a person who lacks imagination.
or lacks confidence.
or possesses the worst kind of needless fear.
or is hellbent on never being placed in a situation,
where they have to entertain an educated guess,
and put their ass on the line.
most educated guesses, are mostly made of non-physical components.
components such as:
intuition
common sense
comprehension of relevancy
the ability to navigate generalities
AKA the bigger picture.
and get this.
the biggest, most important educated guesses, have no physical components what so ever.
making physical proof hardliners incapable of comprehending the biggest, most important things in life.

Say : "yes, continue to reproduce ever and ever the errors of the past"?
:-)
More than 90% of the posts here concerning experiments do not suggest new ideas, new concepts, new way of thinking, new real tracks to FE.
Firstly they play with all misunderstandings that people could have centuries ago, when Newton, Coulomb, Ampère, Maxwell, Lorentz, Einstein and many others giants of human knowledge were not yet born. Secondly they neglect all aspects of real life (for example, they deal with transformers at HF frequencies without considering the capacities between windings, or measure signals of any shapes with an ordinary multimeter!...).
Science is not a question of faith and magic thinking but a question of creativity, logic and rationality. It needs modesty and the same very high rigor that we see in conventional physics.
I agree we have not to say "it cannot be done!", even to an ignorant who claims to have discovered the Holy Grail, but we can possibly say him "it cannot be done that way!".
As Ollie says, "Stanley, another fine mess you've gotten us into."

Good post. Science, Rigor and skepticism are all very important. But with skepticism, people need to be moderate... Extreme skeptics (i.e. some physicists) will dismiss any claim that might conflict with conventional physics. The low skepticism folks will believe most FE claims, and try to build magic toroids and circuits all day... Spending hours on concepts that are really 100 years old and believing it's FE is pointless.
hi all
yes i kind of think your right not really anything new going on here.
some good stuff at the joule thief but it is pretty much the same radio HF stuff you can get elsewhere.
the really good stuff is someplace else and really in the books people should be reading when there is something good here it gets past over or dismissed.
to many beginners but i think the guy who goes and builds something is still better off there is something to be learned from doing. you pick a goal and go for it somewhere down the line it will gain momentum then everyone wants to know how it was done but it's to late and to far to go back just try to explain a transistor then try to make one from scratch by the time you succeed you will know all the people who don't have a clue. But they got a degree in bull----.
every project i ever worked on tought me something that was not obvious and not common sense.
But in the end they were all well worth the time the guy that said 95% of the people are always wrong may have been right but missed the number.

what's been done till now makes sense: using sharp HV pulses without current or discharge and letting its field do work - stan meyers work fits the above link best.
