There used to bee this thing on the weather channel called the aches and pains index?

it's sunday, jan 4, 2009, about 2:38 am new york time, I experienced an extremely high pitched squelching followed by ear pains - there's no identifiable source, however the computer and tv were on.  I live in south georgia,...

Did anyone else experience this type of sensation?
