Why do you always say prove it is not? To even make this statement you need to prove that it is first.

What many refer to as a "kick" is in fact an inductive discharge, it is not Bemf nor Cemf. If you are an engineer then perhaps you can tell me how Tesla produced a 10,000 volt rise per inch of conductor in his open helical coils? In a dc motor with a permanent magnet field the armature generates back emf and the speed of the armature is limited by the back emf.  Now if you have a wound field and it is series connected to the armature in what they call a Universal motor very popular in portable power tools and vacuum cleaner motors etc.  the back emf weakens the field current which weakens the backemf and the armature now has no limit to how fast it can go short of the applied voltage and mechanical limitations.  So if we take an armature with no field winding it will accelerate until the ambient magnetic field causes some backemf to be developed.  Theoretically the armature could be acclerated to very high rpm's with a very small amount of current.  After converting the input energy into angular momentum of the armature the load is coupled and the energy is shed into the load.  The millivolt supply then reaccelerates the uncoupled armature and the cycle is repeated.  This is just another example of taking a very low bias input and causing a higher power output.  A one volt drop across the anode and cathode in a picture tube results in very little electron acceleration.  Your electron gun is more like an electron drip.  Now we increase the voltage to 36kv and the electron gun fires.  How many amps does it take to produce 36,000 volts.  Not a whole hell of a lot if we collapse the magnetic field around a coil FAST.  We distort the magnetic field and this will take energy then we shut off the switch fast as we can and the aether gives us the voltage as it returns the magnetic field to status quo.  This does not happen pumping a sinewave into a laminated transformer core.  The sinewave is like pulling back on an arrow then returning the arrow back to it's start position using energy both ways.  If the power companies would reinvest in distributing something besides 60hz alternating current say something like sawtooth dc they could get away with 10 percent of the power they are using now.

i would like to thank allcanadian and sparks for clearing up the language about BEMF as it is only in motors but CEMF has not yet really been explained well enough for proper use here Tesla used the terms BEMF and CEMF but said this phenomena was more like water hammer this definitely denotes a difference which should be better clarified for those reading
i was though that cemf is when two inductors are wound in such a way as to work in opposition to maintain a steady dc removing any ac fluctuation were the fields either counter or aid the drop or rise of steady current flow.

i still think hemf .. is the proper title .. and this means magnetic colapse from ANY COIL ... 

and it stands for high electro motive force ..

this will happen with or with out a core material..  it is WATER HAMMER  ....

  Tesla would take his high voltage and cut it off real fast.  His emp would then cause electormagnetic shockwaves to enter a resonant cavity where it would ring down or echo the event for extended periods of time.  He ingeniously devised ways to couple to the resonant structure in a manner that would not damp the oscillations.  From one hemf event he would run motors or translatory devices that shunted the lc tanks. Sometimes he would use a transformer primary as the inductance in an intermediate tank to get higher voltage at the same frequency.  Higher amplitude same frequency sounds like a system running with gain to me.  How many stages can you go before your voltage exceeds any known insulators on Earth and you start to ionze air and man-made lightning insues.   Now where did all this energy come from.  When you convert inertia into kinetic energy.  The little particles we call atoms got energy storedup in em.  They are going at least 60,000 miles an hour relative to the Sun never mind how fast they are really goinng relative to the aether cause the whole solar system is going probably millions of miles an hour and the galaxies have been accelerating for a few billion years so how fast are they going.  Atom aint got much mass but when they hit a brick wall that is created in the aether they do convert inertia into kinetic energy.
