There was a time when smear tactics would get me upset also, but I've since learned to laugh at the futility of the perpetrators knowing that before its all said and done, when pressured they eventually always end up perpetrating fraud of some sort in trying to back up a poorly considered position...as was the case in this instance, when c-nut pasted some unlinked and out of context comment from an unrelated thread.

Okay.   I'm with you on this one.   My former business associate was treated similarly to you and me.  People would take advantage of his basic honesty and kind-heartedness.   He would only say to me, "I'll step back and let him go.   I give the matter to God.   God can handle him and show him what a mistake he made.   I'll merely watch while God deals with this guy in His own way."

It never failed that the miscreant suffered from some stupidity he made by his own actions.   Eventually, I saw he was right.   I, "Let them go", as my friend did.

1) Home prices are still falling in many metropolitan markets.

2) Millions of people are out of work and some are about to lose their unemployment benefits.

3) Adjustable Rate Mortgages(ARMs) are raising the rates for many Americans who still have a home to live in.

4) The Italian debt/credit crisis won't go away as long as politicians there refuse to get their act together and cut spending.   Even if they do, riots in the streets can become severe.

5) Occupy Wall Street("Everywhere", eventually) won't go away as long #'s 1, 2 & 3 above are in effect.   I hope this doesn't get ugly.

6) The American debt load is heading toward $15 trillion, accelerating in a downward speeding spiral, and is absolutely unsustainable.   The "economic disaster" I see, is coming.
