Well, yeah, that may be so, but IMHO, I meant the term "Company" to be more like organized crime as a cover for the nickname of "The Company".   On the streets in some cities, that's what "The Mob" is called because they're into all business activity you can think of.   Robert Heinlein featured in a novel, a takeover of the whole country by "Big Business" vested interests---and I think this is possible.   I believe it can happen.

Yeah, political process is being run by shady vested interests and has been for, ummmmmm, I'd say 150 years, at least.   Nobody gets elected unless they play the game according to "The Company's"  rules, I was told awhile ago by a friend in another state.

I have the opinion it's something more than that.   The same thing happened when I announced that I might be leaving the Internet for a job I landed.   This thread stopped then and there.   I was making an incorrect assumption, but that was all.

Not everybody is comfortable with my being gender variant.   Some people won't stay in the same room with me.   That, I think, is part of the answer.

I happened to go past a sidewalk dispenser for free newspapers and picked up the latest edition of "El Reportero", a bilingual Spanish/English weekly local Socialist free newspaper.
       Syria was a big concern to old author of an article.   He likened it to a regional conflict that could get out of hand and possibly proceed to WWIII.   As it is, arms and men are pouring into the country as I write.
       American destroyers, and at least one Russian cruiser, are in the area or on their way.   Rival countries are warning each other to be  MORE  THAN  careful in handling the military situation in the region.   Both sides in the conflict are guilty of war crimes and nobody is sqeaky clean when the apparent truth of the various potential atrocities perpetrated by both sides are finally made known.

Great.    I said the economy doesn't necessarily need to collapse in order to make people's lives turn into hell on earth.   I meant what I said.   This thread's title is becoming outdated by fact of the potential of WWIII occuring in the future.   And WWIII is just as bad an economic depression.   There's still time to get ready for those who think it's coming.

Aye, and it has.  Corporation U.S. is indeed
a Criminal Enterprise consisting of diverse
"vested interests."  It is all about "business."

Each morning when a court comes into session
the clerk makes an announcement which
signifies how the Corporation works.

The process of "making a living" in today's
U.S. of A. is defined as "doing business."
Our lives are literally "business."
