I tried to use a tesla like coil (200 turns) underneath the Grenade coil instead of the inductor.
Series resonance was set using some wima caps around 15KHz using the push-pull setup.

The result was minimal, about 20V dc coming out of the grenade, not able to light up a bulb.

Then i set up the tesla like coil in parallel resonance with similar wima caps as a stand-alone circuit (around 15KHz)
and added again the inductor coil (3 layers bifilar half the length of the grenade coil) and series resonate that also around 15KHz
with the push-pull.

The result was slightly better, but a 100W bulb was barely lit.

The nano-pulse in both above cases causes the voltage/light to further decrease/dim somewhat.

So the power transfer into the grenade coil in both cases is very bad (due to the coax inbetween the grenade and the inductor?)
and adding the nano-pulse only worsen that.

Finally i tried to measure the VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) of the grenade, as that suppose to have (i think) a frequency where
it shows a worse VSWR so we could setup a standing wave on that frequency.

However, there is no such frequency to be found in a 1.5GHz range, only some good = low VSWR points are found.
So i am puzzeled about these references to tune the grenade to a worse VSWR so we can setup a standing wave doing its magic.

We have discussed it again before a year but seems that you forgot it. See attached image.

We measure an accurate length for our inductor for one reason. For being able to vibrate at the same high frequency as with our grenade. By forcing it down to KHz with the series cap is absolutely without any meaning. Ruslan seems that purposely made a mistake on here...

I tried to do the same but i can not tune it. I'll try again next week as i will have some time to play with. For now i took a brake messing around with JohnK1's circuit. Looks interesting as in simulation creates sharp one way pulses at the output! I hope that Jan made some progress on this.

You need to tune it ti the Freq you want it tuned to, not any old F or it won't work and that caption has a coil that's wound in a different way so the values shown aren't correct, know what your doing or the coil might just get red hot and start a fire, oh yes !

  Anyone interested in giving Poma's self runner circuit a try?
  Some of us already have the Kacher circuit ready to go on it, from the Ruslan/Akula replications.
  We would just need to make the second set separate coils, plus wind the coil that goes over the Kacher's secondary,  and what ever else (unknowns) may be needed.  No push pull to have to deal with on this one, and no PLL, no other frequency controlers that I can see. I can't get much simpler...
