Can you supply any facts, documents or testimonials from the learned elders to back up your OPINION?

Also, taking off the sensor causes the computer to run in a safe mode, which enriches the fuel.

taking off or bypassing your O2 sensor makes the motor run lean (use less fuel). This modification is the single source of any improvement in fuel use that you will see with these devices.

This is completely a FALSE statement.  It would be interesting where you heard this or what proof you have that this would be a good thing to do.

When you remove the O2 sensor you will send the computer into a loop default mode ... a mode that is triggered by many sensors that could go faulty but enough to get you into a repair shop so you are not stranded on the road.  Modifying the signal voltage of the O2 is what you can do offer the engine a lean or rich command.  There are many many schematics for this type of mod. just google it.

Exactly....as my personal experience on my car. With smack booster and map adjuster with o2 still hooked up,i was getting a 9 mpg increase, when i unhooked the o2 and it went into default mode,i lost about 3 mpg from that.I would think an efie and a map adjuster would be the way to go,but unhooking definately didnt work in my case,in others it may,but i dont see how.
