Hi Everyone,

Here is some information for those of you that would like to try steam electrolysis using an I0toMax design:

How to build a boiler...

http://www.john-tom.com/MyPlans/Steam%20Engines/Oct08update/Boilers/ModelBoilers.pdf

Some off the shelf boilers...

http://www.maccsteam.com/Horizontal_Marine_boilers/Six_inch/Six_inch.htm

http://www.stuartmodels.com/inprod_det.cfm/section/boilers/mod_id/92

There are others around if you do a search for them. I particularly like the Maccsteam 6” Horizontal as it has a working pressure of 80 psi and a test overpressure of 160 psi. Turbines will run well on steam at all of those ranges and so will give you plenty of scope to play with. It also has a very useful 2.5 litre capacity.

Remember that with steam electrolysis there is no electrolyte in the steam so it might help to pulse heated water containing an electrolyte through the I0toMax from a K valve.

Hope that helps,

RM :)
