and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

more pressure?

  Ghost,
I like your arrangement and it could work. With the modifications I made to your drawing,
it would follow accepted emchanical principles found in any book and of which Heron's Fountain has demonstrated such principles do work.
If the water in column A is the prime mover, it would syphon water as you correctly supposed. And when column A generates sufficient air pressure, then water would be pumped into container B where a low air pressure could pump a smaller diameter column of water to your reservoir that column A is taking it's suction from.
You would need to do a little testing to find out what volumes of water and what diameter of tubes you might need but I do like your concept and think it would be awesome to see it working  8)
If you check out the video I posted, the FGolger's one, you will see one pressure head can be higher than another one. This is because the diameters of the 2 different tubes. The amount of water you see in each one is the same volume.
It's the Heron's Effect I am demonstrating in the video that would allow your design to work.

   Ghost,
if you want me to help you with what you're working on, just let me know.
I just find it kind of insulting that tk would try to rip off work I've explained to him.
And what some of the people in here might miss is the patentability issue. With you, a design patent
could be possible as principles in engineering can not be patented. Besides, Heron's work is over 2,000 years old.
And even if what I've posted is patentable, you've never caused me any problems so if you can expand on what
myself or Heron have thought of, that is what it's about.

Ghost

thanks for the offer to help me out, but for now i will take this on myself.
so far here's the materials i have to put this project together, all i need now is a decent jar.
my first test will be like this: http://www.overunity.com/12662/siphoned-herons-fountain/dlattach/attach/114795
then i will decide where to go from there if it doesn't work and try out my other ideas that i posted on this thread.
all i need now is a jar, something large but not so big.

Just a friendly reminder ghost, using a barrier to seperate pressure heads to achieve a perpetual flow is my invention.

edited to add; I posted my invention on Aug. 30th. Seems a person can't get credit for anything in this forum, sheesh.
Guess there will be no need for me to post in here any more. After all, if people could make money off my idea's, free to them, right ?
