Your youtube video resolution at 240p reminded me of those homemade video taken in the 80s.

At 720p is good enough base on current cheaply available device eg:phone and etc.

I am sure you can do better than 240p.

Your Kacher circuit is driven from the same power supply as the Mazzilli oscillator.  Possible interaction here?  May want to probe the DC supply and see if it's clean.

Yes, still don't have your HV caps yet.  So obviously no way to really see the effect manifest.  If you can't find the WIMAs, I think Kemets will work also.  I use the 2000 volt DC, 700 volt AC ones and they seem to work so far.  At least they don't explode or get warm and the capacitance is predictable when tuning.

Do you have or can you get another power supply to accept the line voltage from the device and determine how many amps you still need to loop?

Do you have a ground wire connected?  Length of this wire?

Do you know the length of coils used to possibly predict the correct operating frequency?

Does Kacher run approximately 100 times higher frequency than Mazzilli and do you burst it at all?

Overall, I'm liking what you have going there Nick.  Your drive circuits appear to get the job done.  Your scope will be a huge help in finding sweet spots.  Your construction looks clean and straightforward.  If you can get her to loop, it shouldn't take much work for others to see what you have done and be able to try their hand at it.

HMmmm! Moray and Tesla used MICA caps, if your serious use mica, most of the others vibrate and change value or explode over the semi long time.

The identical scope traces do not say you are under same conditions for phenomena to be met. The electronics can be doing perfectly same but the thing is not there. It is all in how power amplification happen on the wire.

Again, for power to be added to the wire we are talking about charged particles joined electron flow from the outside. If you think outside of the box the ionization/radiation/electrostatic transfer all start making sense as origin of the additional power directed on same wire. Same as two river streams joined together make big flow... My point is there, look for what make electron flow run faster/more electrons going on the wire which initially did not have it from the main power source.

Why not show them a working schematic with simple tesla coil so they can replicate your knowledge.
Why they have to look for what make electron flow run faster if you already know.
