Since we know that a diode bridge doubles the frequency, what happens to the currents in an arc welder's transformer when the DC 100Hz output is shorted via a diode bridge (and a choke)?

I'm in a kind survival mode right now, but I remember when I took apart the Barbosa device. In the top of copper primary coil there was a aluminum windings. To me, at that time, it was connected to to the copper winds to give the right  inductance. Now, I'm wondering.....

Here's something I never heard Nelson talk about.  How can one hold both stripped ends of a 217 volt power source without getting pummeled ?

Is this some "different kind" of electrical output?  "Cold electricity" ? ? ?

Is there no amperage to this power, only voltage?

Is there a frequency component to it that people are immune to?


Please explain if anyone knows the answer.

Maybe its negative energy and does the opposite of positive energy.  Having said that, I once had a mate who was a TV technician who used two fingers to test for 240V mains voltage!

Good point. I was also wondering how did Urfa touch his output cable by naked hand and connected it while working to a 1Kwatt bulb!!! Note that this cable comes out of his output capacitor! Neither Urfa ever spoke about that. I guess cause no one asked him.
