Let me just silence the naysayers and explain some thing about the Tesla coil 'Acula' shows in one of his video's
where he has a Tesla coil and the left side is connected to a Signal Gen, if he then scans a full sine wave across the length of the coil Tuned length then that's its resonant frequency.

Here is a coil i wound years ago never the less it shows you something you should have found out from Acula's video.

Any way study the pics and where the scope probe is and learn.    now learn !

In resonance ? at what frequency are you expecting resonance to be at are you referring to?
for instance if your catcher is tuned to the ''lower MHz range'' it will have a fixed cut off or ''roll  off limit'' and it's lower band pass
frequency will be out of range and heavily attenuated at the grenade band pass frequency 

Where energy will be severely lost! since L+c resistance when out of resonance will be considered to be almost  a short circuit. 


So how can the impossible happen ? Some one is playing games with us unless you have a trick up your sleeve, where you can bend physics !
