It's no fake, He changed the ground wire that was thick with a thin one. It has only two bulbs per load and no thick ground wire is needed. It is understood that the thin wire will have a lower amperage and the two LEDs will not light up.

It might be not so straightforward as it looks.There are solid base behind these devices and many people got positive results.
