Grumage

A man who would take your Open source work and use it to steal and deceive is truly despicable .
I will ask him why he thinks he can do this [if he answers his phone].

Chet, I don't think user mr singh is stealing Grumage video for his benefit. It looks to me he is collecting similar videos to spread the information.

Dear Luc.

I was drawn to this thread by pure curiosity.......

I would say the " Alternator " to quote Monty Python is........ A  "Cardboard cut out "..... The terminal block housing is a real giveaway, looks like thin plywood glued together, there's no screws to hold it in place !!   ;)

It's here I need some advice from fellow You Tubers.

Here's my flywheel video.          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32a2SHkvsyc

And now from a mr singh.         https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qcd4M0AweH0

I found it alongside the video you linked to, at the start of this thread.

Look at the views, our mr singh has released my video without consent and is openly untruthful with the title. What should I do in this situation ?

Cheers Grum.

Dear Grum,

you must of contacted mr singh as your video has been deleted.

You also look to be right on the construction of the alternator. Looks to be made of 5/8" MDF (pressed fine sawdust) which is very inexpensive and plenty available in that area of the world. You can see the fine edge blade rips.
I originally thought the lines on the alternator were raised but looking closer they are recessed in, which would be the easy way to build it to make a circle.
I also noticed he scratched the paint quite easily when he rested the pump on top of the alternator to connect it as load. A real manufactured baked paint finish would not chip so easy.
Also, the overall end covers bolts don't quite look right.

Looks like this one is busted 8)

Thanks for sharing

Dear Luc.

No...... I contacted You Tube using the  " youtube copyright system " !!  It seems they have worked very quickly.

What really annoyed me was the blatant lie that got him 90,000 + hits in two weeks, I hope no one got burnt.

Back to the " cardboard " alternator, even the badge is hand crafted probably one of those metal foil embossing devices by you know who !!   ;)

Oh, and have you ever tried to jack up your car with your fingers ? If that was a 5 KVA unit it would be in excess of 30 Kg !! No chance !!

As you say.......... Busted.

Cheers Grum.

The only thing I can think of is, the large blue Alternator does not contain a rotor and its cavity is filled with Li-on batteries and a 2kw inverter (minimum) to powers the prime mover (induction motor)

Sounds like a very complicated and expensive trick if that's what he really did :-\

Any other ideas?

Luc
You are having a laugh about the battery's and inverter are you not ?
My point is some other guy had a different video where he is outside with the same sort of generator and he is cranking it by hand, he wasn't very clever as you could see where it was made and the manufacturers name. I looked it up and it's a very clever design that uses lenses law and turns it into energy I did mention it somewhere but no one was interested and said it was off target !  I'm not sure if it was American but can't remember and I have had a new hard drive since then Sorry ! but find that video and you will see ! I'm sure it ain't fake though !  it was blue with a lift house on top just like the one he has, and they were not cheap either !

I remember the hand cranked one. He took it apart and showed drawings on his computer. He was from Indonesia.
Someone sent him $1.5K US partial payment for parts to have a larger one built and never received anything.
I was chosen, not to invest but as stand by to replicate. The investor gave up when he saw things were not working as agreed.

So as good as it looked it may not of been real as well.
