The Pancake Coil

well the tesla pancake coil .......


it is the collector bifolar pancake?

lamp wire or speeker wire

well im playing with this style coil for my 3 collectors and the neat thing i noticed when doing this is this


when i pluse the lower coil with a square wave i can mesure somthing on my upper coil not much but it shows up on my scope so...

now im going to pluse the next coil ontop of it so i now will have the next freq and a little from the last ans so on so when i get up to the top of the collectors i will have more yet

im just playing around but i found some special speeker wire that is 11 ga and flat meaning they are like verry wide lamp wire but thin i wound 6' folded in half like a pancake i will post pictures in this thred later after i play some more

oh yea my pancake was wound around a 4" pvc pipe

ok so

i went out and bought some lamp wire today i bought 20 meters of it and i have started to wind pancakes of it it is 18 ga 7 amp wire

ok so i have made so far 2 pancakes out of it  and i got to thinking humm why dont i mak 3 layers of lamp wire pancakes then wrap controls on it then make 2 more of them and stack them the reason i am doing this is the 3 layers of pancakes stacked are almost square the effect is enhanced much when we work with square coils

im winding and will take pictures of it when i finish it

Welcome to the TPU labyrinth.

IS maybe you should study the reciever you bought.
intresting things happen inside of it if it is a so called "Supersonic Hetrodyne" which i believe it is because of the 5 tubes.....you might want to know how it actually works.

yes i want to know alot more about that reciver i bought but not yet unless you would like to add some info to or any one else for that matter

now why 9 pancake coils?

well how about 3 6 9 the power of 3 6 9

9 coils = a lot of diffrent combs also 3 freqs  3 feed backs 3 control coils hummm almost like 3.3333333_ and 6.666666666666_ and 9.999999999_

hummm echo kicks many kicks harmonics hummmm 3d

somthing new anyway why not try it

also the out put of each ring into the input of the next and along with you guessed the beat freq plused
