Actually as I posted before, I have inside information. TK was panicking earlier this year because he needed braided wire for his device to work and his local suppliers had run out. I do not know if it was the high voltage part alone or the complete thing.
If you have static residue, you need a large area to help disperse it. Ordinary wire can leak static easily. The only answer is to do some experiments with earth grounding and see for ourselves. I am aware  that a simple static leakage can cause massive loss of power. Even Bedini could not loop his devices. Bedini shows videos of himself lighting ne2 bulbs from the floor and from his battery casings - so I think we have to be carefull about generalisations.

so if you have inside info. you know how it all works?  or you are still figuring?
or if you know how it works,  to what effect in physics this device is most comparable to?
this is all i need to know.

Eric Dollard pointed out that an extremely low ground path resistance is required like in his energy transmission experiment between S.F. and L.A.
The braided wire would exhibit lower resistance and provide higher Q factor for more VARs.
Interesting to hear that TK considers it essential to the functionality of his device. Thanks for mentioning that.

I have reviewed all the info and have figured it out. His patent does not have a HV generator, but has a frequency generator. So where does the HV come from .... think....
His device is most comparable to Dollard, Tesla's radiant energy, and Bedini- Bearden's radiant energy patent. It is not taught in physics.
I will not do an instructable because I am still working on it and there are too many negative forces watching this forum. Those who experiment will figure it out.

Well there is not that many possibilities.
Suppose that he does not use a standard HV generator with a high turns factor HV transformer.
Closest bet would be a resonant coil with a high Q factor much like how a real Tesla coil that manages to create that high voltages
but fed with low voltage like 12Volt -230 Volt to 2kV (Never seen anything like it however)
Another option would be voltage multipliers, cascade circuits, charge pumps but they would yield DC HV.
Electrostatic HV like in Testatika.
Electrostatic HV fields play a role in a couple of OU set-ups.
