Yeah, I can believe it.  I have seen stimulated beta decay before.
Contemporary science acknowledges the stimulation of light emission but not the stimulation of beta decay.

Also, it is important to notice, that experiments do not detect free neutrons in beta decay.  They only detect electrons/positrons and deduce neutrinos/antineutrinos.  Free neutrons are synthesized only in reverse-beta reactions and are easily absorbed by Cadmium atoms (e.g.: in CdCl₂) with subsequent emission of a gamma ray. See the Cowan experiment.

Neutrinos/antineutrinos are only deduced since they are near impossible to detect directly.
