this is nothing extraordinary,  this is resonance, 500khz is the resonance freq of this setup, from your request i put one video on the website, in the video im not doing measurements but the power out of the signal gen is allways the same from  0-2 mhz
anyway these experiments im making are for people who have better equipment than me, because im not a rich kid and i cannot afford those high tech oscilloscopes to measure real output power so PLEASE HELP. please dont theorise. thats not real time,
it would be beter if someone would try my setups, you might find something interresting about it, if you do please let me know.
i allready made one interresting result but i did not need any oscilloscope to see it, it was just front of my eyes but could not replicate as i had told in earlier experiments.

A was trying it, around half year back. But nothing, the coil discharge can not maintaint needed current to primary coil, thus that, there is only few volts on output coil, which is only thanks capacitive coupling, because by this way is almost no magnetic field on primary.
Don smith wrote manny untrue statement, only from those which I remember, for example, Neon transformer whicih it self is reputedly OU device, or that secondary resonant coil cannot affect priamry tank, or... when you have very low selfinductance primary and connect to it capacitor to maintain paraler resonance, then there is almost no current needed to feed it. But that is also totaly bullshit. On the tesla sympozium where he prezented the device (I mean the video on youtube), then this device is powered from his suitcase, and the cable from the suitcase to the device is strongly overheating, and of course nobody was know, what was in the suitcase and even more, the suitcase was conected by some cable to ho know where....So, pls...., stop posting things from that pdf, because it leads nowhere.

Please check you drawing again. The base of the transistor
needs a tuned LC circuit for the oscillator to run. You top
pot should be a coil.
