Heat pumps or refrigeration systems are said to be overunity in a sense...they move (or separate) larger amounts of heat than they consume doing so. Cosmo has pushed a similar thought, that strict overunity in the sense that most of us understand it isn't possible, but that energy can be used to gate or move more energy than is required to move it.

When Cosmo suggested that the polarity of the discharge was important, it occurred to me that a similar truth is apparent with cavitation. Creating a small localized area of low pressure results in a large area of high pressure collapsing into it with impressive effect.

While playing in the lab, I experimented with an effect similar to cavitation. Assume that you have two capacitors: C1 is a large cap with an arbitrary charge (in my case, 120uF at 60 VDC), and C2 is a small capacitor with no charge (0.05 uF). Discharge C1 into C2. What happens? During the impulse, C1 induces in C2 nearly 200% of the voltage in C1, then C2 rings at the resonant frequency of itself and the line inductance between it and C1. After C2 rings out, it will contain the same voltage as C1, which if C1 is large enough, is almost exactly the same as the initial charge. That is standard electronics right, so why does it matter?

Let's assume that when C2 is charged with energy from C1, it ends up containing 1 unit of energy, so during the initial impulse, C2 will contain nearly 200% of C1's voltage, or 4 units of energy. After the system has rung out, C2 will contain 1 unit, C1 will have lost 2 units, and 1 unit will be lost to heat and radiation. The interesting point is that in the initial impulse, C1 provided C2 with 4 units of energy, even though the final charge in C2 is only 1 unit. So again, why does that matter?

Simple: It implies that if you can create a localized potential that is lower than that of the earth, then during the discharge impulse the earth will provide you with 4x the energy that was required to generate the impulse. If you can move 4 units of energy with 1 unit of energy, you can do useful work, although it isn't OU in the strictest sense.

I haven't worked out the details of what a functional device would look like, but I have an idea of some of the components. You need 2 capacities...the earth would be the large capacity, and a Tesla coil could form the small capacity. You would probably need two grounds...one to accept the electrons being removed from the small capacity, and one to source the impulse from the earth...although it is possible that a single ground could perform both functions, but in either case the quality of the ground(s) would be important. You would probably also need 2 spark gaps...one to excite the Tesla coil, and one to gate the earth's impulse...although it is possible that a transistor could be used to gate the earth impulse.

The cap discharge phenomenon is easily duplicated in the lab with 2 caps, a power supply, and a scope. Whether the effect can be used to perform useful work, or whether it could be demonstrated with the earth forming the large capacity, is purely speculative. It is interesting to me that the components I think are needed all seem to be present in Kapanadze's early demonstrations, and it is interesting to me that it may be possible to implement such a system electrically as well as hydraulically. It is also interesting that such a device could function purely on the basis of existing science and would not require any exotic science or unproven theories.

Again, just speculation...just brainstorming. Thoughts? Comments?

Guys, I've been reading all over the place for the last couple of months. I came across a patent or patent application and didn't save it cause I was gonna read it later. I had a computer glitch and crashed. I re-sized my cache and lost it. I don't know what file type it was or I could find it. It had 2 or more interconnected transformers with "transmission lines looking" connections between them.
Ive reread forward and backwards all the posts, I think I've read THRICE over. Have you seen this looking thing? PLEASE HELP, as I'm pulling my hair out!!!
