One more question, this has been  bugging me for ages.

If I have a couple of old picture tubes from monitors, can I use them for HV ?

I had been told that the tube from where we connect the lead for the flyback and the
rest of the surface is just like a massive cap.

Yep   big caps,  voltage wise anyway, 25 to 35kv and handle probably more.  Measure the capacitance, but short the tube out before applying the meter.  =]

Why don't you ask the work of the guy who said: "If you use a steady magnetic field around the pulsed coil, then you do not need resonance, and you can use any frequency.  Adjust for best effects"? It was the point.
To reject scams from charlatans and craps from inexperienced and uneducated but pretentious people is a positive talk. I guess such a talk is viewed as negative because it contradicts the beliefs of those prefering pretty dreams to the truth and the facts, in their simplistic way of thinking

When at resonance, the current and voltage are in-phase.  By using a separate steady magnetic field, the voltage is always in-phase.

It is what I said: fields have no effect on each other (except in nonlinear systems when circuit parameters such as permeability are modified). They superpose.

The fact that the coil around the cap has to be vertical is very interesting.  Perhaps you missed that.  Looking at the video, I only see one wire on the cap, so maybe this information is incorrect.

I didn't miss anything. For me it is a well known matter both experimented and theorized. If it was not, I wouldn't give any comments.
Where can we see your own work showing the evidence of an effect of "a steady magnetic field around the pulsed coil"?
