I'm with you.  That spot that Freepow has is beautiful!  I'm a country boy.  I miss my spot in Calif.  Right now I am in the middle of a concrete jungle.  The country as we think of it does not exist in China.  Here the country is only peasant villages with no modern conveniences.  All modern life in concentrated mostly in large cities.  I am in a "small" city of two plus million.  Hope my last winter here?  Thanks for the wish of good well.

Describe you setup with the small wall wart.  Also, if it is a 5v DC, it will have a diode.  The diode will interfere with it as a transformer.  Remove the diode if you can take it apart.  If it is 5v AC, maybe it is defective?  Check windings with an ohmmeter.  Measure resistance of the primary and secondary.  For this do not have it plugged in like to check voltage!!!  Windings  should not  be shorted or open.  Guess at maybe primary at .5 to 5 ohms and secondary maybe 50 to 200 ohms.  Just a guess, but give you an idea of a working trans.  You can still use it for experiments if it has one good winding.  Buy a cheap extension cord.  Plug the wall wart into it converting it into a lump in the middle power supply.  Wrap the plugged in connection with lots of black electrical tape and then bury it.  You will now have the extension cord leads coming out for the primary and the low volt leads for the secondary to hook up how you see fit.

I see you are pioneering earth battery cell setups, well done, you just may have come up with a new way to setup earth battery cells, excellent work.

BTW, what length are those cells? mine are 6 inches long, those look to me to be double my cells.
What size copper pipe are you using, and what is the center electrode?

Have you got around to connecting the EBC to an extension lead yet?
What I mean is, cut the plug and socket off, and run the output of the EBC to the house, where you can take measurements in comfort.

That is beautiful country over there indeed.  Nice work on the cells.  I can't believe the waves go through the PVC like that but, evidently they do.  This is very good for us to know.  Good going.  My understanding is that since the amps (mA's) are volume, you won't need many cells at all to fill your cap, just a little time is all.
Just be careful not to overfill them like I said earlier.

The fact that PVC does not block the action, is further proof that most the energy in the earth is frequencies.  The rods are collecting the frequencies because they are acting either as capacitor plates, or inductors.  Because the inductance and capacitance of the rods is small, they will be more in tune to the higher freq band.

I could be wrong, but here is my take on the DC battery-like polarity of the earth.  There are many different freq in the earth caused by many different things.  It is a virtual soup of frequencies.  But collectively they are influenced by the earths magnetic field which tends to give them polarity.  This is because the N pole has more energy than the S pole.  This also holds true in small magnets.  The net effect is kind of like a diode.  The plus side of sine waves are stronger than the negative side of the sine waves.  Maybe the proof of this will come when we are able amplify a single freq of the earth high enough that a scope will show more energy in one half the cycle than the other?

Once it gets cold here, it stays cold.  No breaks where you will get cold days followed by warm days.  The government supplies the hot water heat.  No control over the temp of your house.  It is barely warm.  This is fine if you can a afford a new house with radiant heat in the floor.  But it doesn't work in the old houses like ours with a small radiator in each room.  Plus the leaky single pane windows lose the heat quickly.  I long for my humble house in Calif where I have Oil heat, kerosene heat, electric heat and wood heat as a choice depending on the circumstances.
