He should manufacture a minicell which can be powered by cigarette lighter fluid ( butane ) ...perhaps he could make  something small to demonstrate the electricity at work powering a remote controlled vehicle ( RC Car ) or something like this.

A home unit about the size of an external air conditioning unit would be nice. With net metering excess power could be put onto the grid. The unit would likely pay for itself fairly quickly. For those with septic systems one could imagine installing some kind of methane capture device - new industry, new jobs for contractors. I wonder what the electrical power output is per liter of gas?

The home unit is rather milk carton sized, and looks pretty heavy. It's been on the news, Youtube has it.

I am a sceptic, but would love to be convinced. I see an engine, albeit a clean one, running on fuel. It's the future the oil companies want. They can keep sucking the juice out of mother earth, charge high prices (especially if Bloom technology is more economical).

One but : how are we going to get that one CO2 (strating from a CH4) molecule past the Al Gore Gang? Oh, I know: they'll tax us for it, and do nothing with the taxes but taking it off the cash market.
If it outputs water and CO2...is that soda water from Methane?

I hope this "out there" stuff will soon be rolled out, and open doors (purses and subsedies) for the stuff we see researched on this website. From the little I read on Bloom so far, it feels like a hybrid technology. It gives a taste of what's possible, and should give us confidence to dare reach that far.

i don't get it.why are so many ppl so enthusiast about this thing? it's not a new tech (this type of gas fuel cell tech was probed and used 20 years ago) and it's definitively not green.
when do you learn that all it counts is money and in order to get as much one can get all you need is not love but marketing. it's a pr game.that's it. nothing more
