Hi Slayer

I decided today to try your idea to increase the number of turns on L2. But as i am totally undisciplined i finally made a bifilar Tesla pancake A.  With o.4 mm copper wire.  The DC resistance is 1.2 ohm and the inductance -0.023 mh  (notice the minus and i try all set up on my inductance meter). ?

Than i try to trigger my main coil with this config and got no results  no resonance.

So i reinstalled my original single  pancake coil  and i put the Tesla pancake on the top of the coil as a pickup coil.

And here the scope trace  ( probe on one single lead of the coil)    very nice AC trace of pick to pick 100 volts on a 1.2 volts battery.

So with this new coil i did  not resolve the heating of the Transistor (i blew another one this morning with some other test)  but i got a new intersting result .

We are not ready to go sleeping with this technology. Every day a new discovery . Fascinating !

You will have better results with the plastic coated wire for the pancake coil.

In this video I have two coils with the same specs as the L1 coil.
The top of each coil is connected to one side of a rectifier that goes to a capacitor.
The bottom of each coil has a small antenna.

Then I have my Exiter connected to the capacitor.
And it will dimly light the leds I have on a board.
But even with the Exiter disconnected the led's will still light off the coil or any part of the circuit.

Some how the two coils are resonating and exiting the environment around them.

This is amazing!  Where do you think the energy is coming from?  Random RF signals possibly?  What if you use an earth ground to one or both coils...do the leds get brighter?

Yes I think it's picking up RF from somewhere.I don't know were there is nothing around(Kinda out in the country).
I thought it might be comming from the AC in the Garage.But even when the power is turned off from the garage it works the same.
This is close to 70' from the house so it's not from the AC.

Even when the exiter was disconnected the two coils keep working and exiting the environment.
And slowly charge the capacitor.

The voltage read across the rectifier is 1.3v.

Is this your circuit? This is a dipole antenna. But, a very high field voltage would be required to get the needed 0.7 volts across the diodes to allow current to flow through them. I could see this happening with your exciter generating a field, but I would not think the ambient field would have a high enough voltage when the exciter is off.
