Hi Altrez,

Thanks!!  They didn't come with any information on how to use them and/or how to hook them up, so I'm going to have to contact Lissy in China and see if she can find out for me.

Thanks for all your help!!

Best Regards,
Slovenia

I got some more information from China on my transducer.  They sent me some pics of how they utilize them in their ultrasonic cleaners and welders, and they are not supposed to be in the water themselves.  They are attached with epoxy to the floor of the cleaner but on the bottom side of the floor where they are not exposed to water.  So, this is going to be interesting figuring out how to use them in a wet environment.  I'm going to have to build a water proof base for the bottom side of the transducer to keep it dry in the bottom of my cell.

The company had pcbs to drive the transducers too and they can build whatever we want but Lissy said that would cost more since it would be a custom build scenario.  Their shipping is less on one unit but more than the original place I mentioned where the shipping was $62 for 10 or 1 units.  The other place has exactly what we need but I didn't want to pay $62 shipping for one unit and I didn't want to order several units before I had conformation they would work for me.  So, that's where we are.

I asked what instructions the company had to go along with my transducer and they sent me the following four pics:

Solvenia,

Use your fogger first to vaporize the water then have your second transducer catch the vapor and turn it to its elemental hydrogen and oxygen.  This is the two stage idea I was talking about.

Do you think it possible to mix zinc in paint or primer and spread it onto a material (substrate)?

I am trying to concentrate my efforts on the cdi at this point.  We are getting RF from using resistorless copper wires and ghost firing.  So we are going to try fine wire braid on the plug wires and ground it to the engine block for shielding and try a tvs diode on the trigger.
