Hi all !

I've seen this setup long time ago.
magnet is rotated in toroid core changing fields and inducing voltage at coils.
Prototype is made and gives FE.

What is stated in some paper found on internet (can't find it any more)
is that magnet field can travel through core but lenz counter field (when extracting current from coils)
remains in toroid core and doesn't creact with magnet.

even if sinusoidal current is applied to one of the coils inner magnet doesn't move a bit.

can someone find page where this is stated and what is current status of device.

Thanks

The rotating magnet generates a varying magnetic flux in each half part of the toroid core thus producing emf in the two coils.
If a current is drawn from the coils, it will produce a flux through the magnet opposing that of the magnet.
There is no reason to believe that the flux from the coils would stay in the toroid core because electromagnetism is reciprocical : if a magnet can produce linked field lines by a flux through the half-core, flux from the half-core can produce opposing field lines to the magnet.
The path consisting of the half core and the magnet is a regular path for the magnetic flux independently of its source everywhere on the path.
