Regardless of "Shorting" - Whats Going to happen to the Cap with one Polarity of an AC Signal across the Cap?

The cap will eventually charge up to the max voltage of that signal.

Whats the Diode in the Fett going to do to the Cap depending on its Polarity?

@Tinman, old mate, you have done good work, I commend you! My replication of your Rotary Transformer is not the same as yours due to "Shorting". So I must revoke my statement that I have replicated your work! Its similar but not the same.

If you're happy to, and I can still tease PW then feel free to keep posting here. Maybe we could both learn some from each other. Like I said, I have never gone down the Shorting path. Yes, I think I am now guilty of a small assumption here!

Some times(ok,most times) i really dont see the point in slinging mud. You and MH have been at each other since the start. PW,and MarkE have always done there best to help me,so if by me staying in this thread is only going to add  encouragement to mud slinging toward those i feel have helped me throughout my time here,then perhaps it's better i post nothing more.

I would really like you to post your motor setup here EMJ,so as we can see if it is possible to achieve what i !THINK! i have in a different way.

Im done with going through all those post,and replying to them all-->too bloody many.

I truly hope you will continue to either post here or possibly start a new thread.  I am very intrigued by your results.

I will understand whatever you decide.  However, I always enjoy reading your posts and interacting with you.

I also appreciate your above and beyond effort in making videos, etc.
