What does Redrichie's reed shorting on a piggyback coil have in common with the Tinman's "Rotary Transformer"? How does the position of the reed switch affect the "Wave Reflection" and tune the common core to achieve Lenz Reversal?

Increasing or decreasing the Core VRM, can speed up or slow down the arrival of the reflected pole formation. I envisioned a solenoid coil with an electro-magnet core that was energized by a second covering coil, and regulated by Tunnel and Zener Diodes. This kind of coil can control the core tuning to achieve Lenz Reversal along with the addition of backing magnets.

The speed of magnetisem through a ferrite core is not instantaneous and requires a time interval. This interval can be controlled by regulating the core's VRM.

Just wraping a ferrite coil core a few times and connecting battery electrodes through a variable resistor, then shorting the outer coil should help control Lenz Reversal. This crude approach would requie a separate power source to energize the electro-magnet core of the shorted output coil! A simple testing approach. Once set up it would be possible to vary the strength of the electo-magnetic core with a potentiometer. The outer coil can be connected to a load, and once operating ranges are established, diodes can help the coil regulate the internal loop.
