The more I read from this guy, the more I come to realize that he has it all backwards. It's unfortunate that he is so unwilling to discuss his project. Anyway:

Don't feel bad.  EMJ has been like this for years.  And now that he has been given the power to delete posts on his thread, it has become worse.  He can insult posters and then delete those posts as if they never happened.  Not sure why that is permitted...

In over 5 years, I have never seen his POC do anything but light a bulb or two with more power being drawn from the power supply then it would take to light those lamps directly.  If he has accomplished more than that, I have not seen it.  And now it seems that if someone experiments with any circuit using any manner of coils or transformers, he takes credit as if it is using his "technology".

He has always resisted any discussions regarding measurement error and talks down to anyone who questions his "measurements".

Read his POC thread from 5 years ago.  Early on back then he did not even know why and when to use AC coupling on his scope, but apparently wanting to come off as an expert even then, he denigrated all who attempted to explain it to him.  Read a few pages from those days and you will see little has changed.

He is learning as he goes along, but not without insulting all those who have attempted to share their knowledge and expertise with him trying to help him get there.
