how come they overlooked all the next to free solutions. There is nothing

tapping unknown source of energy doesn't talk about - unknown form of energy.
But in any case if  LRC circuit can sense it and couple into it ,than it  becomes an  interface between the energy from the source and that energy sensing apparatus( including loads)
