Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I don't know if this has been posted here.  Apparently Steorn now plans to launch their Orbo thingy "before next summer".

it's jackass companies like steorn that give the free energy research community a bad name.

What are you talking about? They're giving the opportunity to have 22 scientists test their claims and they've said they're not in it for the money. If they were scammers they wouldn't want their design tested, and they'd want all the money for themselves. If they were selling "free energy" generators for $100 on ebay that didn't work, I'd call them scammers, but they actually seem to be genuinely interested in showing the world that this technology does in fact work. The world needs the technology. 15 million kids die of starvation every year, global warming keeps increasing, ice caps are melting, wars are being fought over oil... If this is put off another 100 years, it may be too late. We need this stuff today. If Steorn is full of shit, fine, but that doesn't mean magnetic motors are impossible... It just means they're full of shit and trying to give the technology a bad name. I hope they're in it for the right reasons, and they are who they claim they are... but regardless, the knowledge is out there... if not Steorn, then some other inventor will figure it out. Matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the military already knows ALL about magnetic motors... it's just now finally starting to trickle down to the regular citizen. If the military knows about these motors and this energy, we have a right to use it for the benefit of mankind... this is more than just a technology to power fighter jets and submarines. This is a technology that can unite and revolutionize the ENTIRE world.

From the news story I quoted:

QuoteAccording to its 2006 accounts, which were provided by the company, Steorn's two directors, CEO Se?n McCarthy and Michael Daly, shared over ?350,000 in remuneration in 2006.

Those are pretty good wages, considering that they're not in it for the money.

In any case, why haven't they shown anything to the public?  If they have a working orbo, couldn't they at least release a video that shows one operating?  This thing has been going for years already and it appears they are trying to spin it out for at least one more, collecting nice salaries along the way.

Are you saying the military already is using magnetic motors?  If so, isn't it odd that the last two major wars the US has been involved in have been largely over oil?
