Converts all organic material and waste to methane leaving potable water

I think methane is about the same as air. If you have a leak in your kitchen the stink smell they put in it just sits in the room.
I could be wrong.

There was a guy in Mendocino county cal. that taught a class on how to make your own methane. He had a garbage can overturned onto one standing upright. He just used grass clippings. He made the point that methane is easy to make.

He took the smell out by running the gas through some steel wool. Maybe it does rise a little. hmm.

I will try to remember his name. He wrote books and his books are peddled by realgoods , now gaiam. It all seemed very easy and backyard simple.

I am all for methane being used as a fuel for cars.I know there is methane in ice form buried in the oceans.They talk about how its methane leftover from when the earth was formed.I'm real sure about methane being heavier than air(i guess solar heat could make it warm enough to rise if it's already in balloons).I am thrilled they found something to store the methane in besides just a tank.Carbon from charred corncobs.You can  make charcoal from a stack of wood .You light on fire then cover the stack with soil.The fire continues but at a much slower rate and some hours later you have some charcoal that will burn. Burn corncobs instead of wood .Same method .Triffid

Is this the same stuff that cap has got a hold of.
I have read the site and they say it breaks down waste but no mention of methane
