Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Yes, I tried to convert the database from ISO to UTF-8 format,
but it ran not through completely... also some quircks I still have to fix...

Many thanks for this hint.

Where does it show ?

Vielen Dank für den Hinweis,
wo tauchen genau die Fehler auf ? URL ?
Gruss, Stefan.

Has anyone of you got any experience with SMF 1.1.6 on SQLite ?

http://www.sqlite.org

is a SQL less database solution using only one file, so
no database servers needed...

Regards, Stefan.

Don't use SQLite with forum like this one, because it lacks many features and uses very simple multi transaction handling, SQLlite uses simple file lock to insert/update data, better use MySQL or Postgresql

winner

Thanks for the update, Stefan!

Glad you were able to get things back as quickly as you did; I know that these things can sometimes take many, many hours to repair!

Yes,I heard this too from a friend, that a 200 Mbyte database file is too big for SQLite...

Or maybe running it totally in the RAM inside the server ?
Would this help ?

I will probably run my upcoming article site
free-energy.tk
on SQLite though, as this will be no forum
but just the summary of many threads of the forum..
So the forum over here will be for discussion
and the free-energy.tk website will be for
summary articles.

I think this is the best way, not to censor anything over here,
but just only copy the technical stuff from over here to
the new free-energy.tk site for a quick read.

Over here there will stay the discussion and posting
of new stuff and I will summarize and convert it into
fast readable pages at free-energy.tk

Regards, Stefan.
