That is a great video.  Can anyone tell what he is using as a power source?  That 2nd spark gap is a lot bigger there.  I think this guy is on to something and getting pretty close.

  This circuit is way too inefficient.  You got light and sound radiating all over the place.  This guy needs to put some coils around those spark gaps and be down with it.   Like putting a big turbine on the front of your car.  As your car speeds up it drives a turbine that is attached to the wheels.  The drag is actively turned into power.  The car runs in the partial vacuum bubble behind the turbine and doesnt have to deal with any skin drag effect.  Then it is just a matter of which way the wind is blowing which at higher velocities isnt a big concern.  That would be ram air drive for sure.
