You need not poo poo the idea merely because one of the links to a source has "ufo" in
the title. It is only because of T.T. Brown's other work in "electro-gravity".
His work in Petrovoltaics is sound much of which is still classified. However there is tons
of information kept by his family. (http://www.qualight.com/library.htm)
To run around saying it is "bad ideas" and "pseudoscience" smacks of Disinformation
tactics generally used by those either paid by, or working for various agencies.
One merely has to research the entirety of T.T. Brown's work as well as others in the field
to see that what I am saying is true.

I have accepted a lot of ideas about free energy when reputable
scientists wouldn't touch them because I believed in possible active
suppression of free energy tech...But then, I don't feel I have to
accept them all.

I see what you are saying about external sources of energy... I theorize
myself that these cells pick up energy from Terrahertz background Radiation
from the earth. The logic is that the earth's black body thermal spectrum
is set by the sun operating in the very upper reaches of the earth solid
body. But not all energy gets to it that way. The earth is actually partially
a star, radiating thermal energy setting it's color by nuclear fission in the
mantel. So the earth's color spectrum is different from a standard black
body radiator because it is internally driven. But where is it different?...the
Terrahertz radio spectrum, this is in little explored territory between infrared
optical and microwave radio EMF frequencies. I don't know if you know much
about the interception or energy in either of these other ranges, but they are
very different from each other.

My feeling is these battery cells are sensor coherers for the reception and
rectification of Terrahertz EMF radiation from the earth's black body spectrum.
In a few years everyone probably will agree that this is the only logical explanation.
This explanation is totally based in science but the difference is immense from
a "Biological Force Field" or some similar nonsense. If my explanation is true
then these cells probably wouldn't perform well in robotic spacecraft, by the
way.

Maybe you would like to devise a separating mechanism. Like maybe small glass plates
with through metallic contacts where batteries could be made in series in one pass.
During the high voltage charge phase maybe a Van De Graf generator would implace
very high voltage electric charge that would distribute itself equally throughout the
battery cells. The Marcus Reid artillery shell” sized batteries wouldn’t be too bad if
they contained ten levels of separators or something like that. A thought.

Interesting theory, which could be true. However what is the best way to measure where the energy is coming from? T.T. Brown in his notebooks thought the energy was coming from "The Great Attractor"...but unfortunately he did not elaborate exactly how he came to that conclusion. We know there is indeed various types of energy bombarding the earth from space, but trying to identify what energy is being focused through certain rock/crystal/etc materials is the challenge. I still feel tuning is the key, but also we need a way to identify the energies, what they are per specific material etc.
At any rate all of this is virtually virgin territory so I am very interested in continuing with the research.

@mscoffman: "long hard slog ", you got that right buddy. Good point, it is easy to become distracted by seemingly similar devices and the theories attributed to them by their inventors.
I tend to go with what I know but sometimes I'll take on board theories from others if it helps clarify what I'm working on at the time. Best keep an open mind. I think "coherer" sums these things up pretty well.

@Jonathan: welcome aboard, nice work. Reid measured a voltage across Calcite -> calcium carbonate -> chalk, although I understand he does not use calcite anymore. However I think it can be prepared in such a way as to be a good matrix for your carrier materials.

@winter: I'll be the first to admit I haven't got a clue as to what energies are involved with these things. All I know is I have made crystal batteries, in the true sense, but of a very low power.
They do have some resonant characteristics as well as capacitive and semi-conductive.

Got to go, I'm at my other job at the moment, you know , the one that pays the bills.

Just out of curiosity to all...whitch cells have been your best performers to date? also i hope you dontmind that i use some of you ideas to try my own cells i thin i may be onto sometning one i made usues neodinium and niobium rose quartz ant alexanderiteand tourmaline also epsom salts it icked out 2 volts for a half day then whent down to a millivolt i want to try smeo fo your clee ingredients and some of mine as i have some verry rare and exotic metals and other minerals and such is a van de graff generator good enough to polarize the cells mine is at 600,000 volts is it to high or to low doy you know? just asking as i want to get beter at this.
also ive got some verry old around 1968 monsanto leds to trythese on to see if theywork..these are verry dim and believe it or not not as power hungry as normal leds.........I think anywasy ill cut the babble and end it here for now
