ive alays ondered uat type of silicate marcus reid uses in his cells id uish i kne it ould make my experiments alot easier i kno that this silicate undergoes a chemichal reaction and is not ion conductive at room temperature i think he also uses something else oh and does marcus reid need extremely hight temperatures to melt the ingredients together ive tried silicate cells all uork but not  verry uell (double u is broken again) it ould be a big benifit to me if i just had a hint for uat im looking for ho is everyones cells going

I joined this thread oh so long ago because I had discovered the works of Prof. Davidovits, who had created a line of chemistry that he called geopolymers.
These are silicon based polymers.
He started with a little kaolin clay and added a very small amount of NaOH or KOH and dissolved the clay.
When he mixed this with powdered rock, and put this into a mold, it formed a new rock in the form of the mold.
Microscopic and mri readings showed it was identical to real rock.

So, I will give you some links to get you started.
It is all about silicon chemistry and polymeric chemistry of silicon... not carbon.
(there have been 'copiers' who have used acrylics and carbon based copies, which is bullspit.

Hello All,

Been doing some experimentation with the two "crystal" batteries that were made. I am not schooled in electronic theory, but when you put two galvanic batteries together in series, doesn't just the voltage double, and not the current?

Please correct me if I'm incorrect.

Anyway, these two cells in series both double the voltage AND the current. Is that normal?

No, that is not normal.  Google Ohm's law.  You are correct that in series the volts are added and in parallel the power (Ma's) is added.

Maybe you discovered something new?  Maybe a measurement error?  Keep us posted on this.

How are you measuring the power?  Your meter needs to be in series with the load to measure it correctly.  This is different from measuring voltage.  I hope this helps.

jeanna do you kno if he uses this or something similar to this geopolymer material all ive found out about the cells is something to do is  calcite  certain silicate compunds aluminium hydroxide layer and highly dispersive crystaline material hat could cause highly dispersive crystaline material? and to all uat do you think reid uses and ho he trets the cells like heating and chemicals i heard earlier on on a page that somebody made a silicate mix that expanded and bubbled in a similar fashion to this also if anybody has any info on the markus reid cells and or any others like hutchinsons cells please just say  it uill help us all also koen good to see you  the cells you made early on the ones next to the green e can the hutch style cell and the hite silicate reid style cell are they still putting out poer and if so hat did you use to make them? so i can compare  them to mine. ps. is there any other silicate compounds other than sodium silicate that are lo temp melting and dispersive and also  not affected by h20? there uas a ord on his page krystal agrigates or something asuell my cells are all ok eccept the hutch cell it didnt die suddenly it got knocked off a table/display and no it doesnt ork also shos verry little sighns of corrosion also the silicate sealant cells are they still going ell and the lepidolite cell mr brook?
