Earth Magnetosphere is creating the same effect as the Rodin/Starship Coil is doing to a spheric magnet:

We know that the Solar wind is driving the Magnetosphere.

Any disturbance of the solar wind will have an effect on Earth Rotation.
The old Mythologies and the Bible speaks of Earth stoping its rotation for 3to4 days.

What could have stop the flowing of the solar wind?

Our sister planet Venus when transiting has the potential to cast a complete shadow over Earth, thus creating a Solar wind turbulence who can move the polarity of the Rodin Coil effect creating the "Stars to fall" or the Earth to Fall off its balance.

WRONG, in a spherical radiation like the Sun, it is not a 2 Dimensions radiation, the Sun's upper/lower visible part during a Venus transit is radiating at an angle that will not reach the Earth, only a small 3D spherical plane of radiation will hit us, and Venus has the potential to block it totally.

So, it's nothing unusual in Venus transition: it happens quite often.
