    I also agree with your explanation of the neo zap effect and it's cause.
   I have used a similar set up to see if I obtain the same results as IST, and of course I did. But, I have also at the same time manually spun a magnetite egg magnet in the center my 6 inch torroid coil, while zapping a regular metal magnet of unknown type. Although I do get a much bigger spark out of it from the same voltage of my 12volt 1000 mA power adapter. The interesting thing to me was,  that while the egg magnet is spinning inside the coil, the heat being produced from the short circuit on the metal magnet being zapped stops entirely, until the egg finally comes to a stop. Then the magnet being zapped again starts to heat up.  Although I'm sure this has a perfectly good explanation,  I would sure love to see that egg magnet keep spinning, but it does not. Heat or no heat.
  Lidmotor- has shown that even a couple of AAs running a JT through a bifiliar coil can make an egg magnet to spin on end. That to me is an amazing feat, and it makes me wonder how that set up can create a spinning vortex. I'm hoping to be able to replicate that effect real soon.

He doesn't explain what he is doing very well. No drawings or schematics to try to replicate some of his stuff or to explain to him what is going on. You also can't ask him any questions regarding the videos. He just goes off and gets pissed. Probably because he doesn't know himself what is happening but if he didn't know he could at least say it. I really don't expect to see anything amazing come from him. But you never know weirder things have happened.

With all due respect, the Lidmotor video you referenced was of a JonnyDavro replication.  I have videos on Youtube of my replications also.  These do not need 2 AA batteries to work, I have run them on a single AA and also from my EER out in the garden.  All you need is an earth battery (EER) a JT circuit and a supercap.

IST did nothing like this.  If he did it tomorrow, he would claim he invented it and threaten to sue all of us who did it before.

Yeah, and what's up with that. He always says that he invented it and we are stealing it. I guess we are all suppose to do what? He is definitely different. Did you know that they let him on the OverUnity Research website. I really don't believe it. We will have to see how long he will last. He is already starting to act like himself.

Funny how all of them who were banned from OU.com are over there saying that they are the real scientists on the cutting edge and we here are all idiots.  Well, possibly that is true but, if they had just learned to be civil with other posters here, they would have not been banned.
