This is a valid question and I am interested in an answer.  It's also not an easy question to answer reasonably from my perspective.  The fact is there is no material fact Bessler had a working wheel in as much as we don't know how it worked.  There is Wagner's example of a similar contraption that was wound up.

The nature of the question is to shake loose those that would attempt to hijack credit from anyone presently working on gravity wheels that might solve the problem.  If the vague clues of Bessler were of any merit I'd think they would have led those looking to the answer by now.  That hasn't happened.

This is a bit of a derail but you are the one attempting to make a point.  I clearly am interested in opinions that would change my mind.  If I weren't I wouldn't waste the time to ask.
