  Does anyone have access to a schematic or diagram that shows how to build a Kacher using the IRFP260N mosfet???
  If so, please upload it for us, here.  As I'd like to try that approach, to see if it can deliver a higher output to the Kacher secondary coil, than the transistor version. As I still have several of the mentioned fets.

Well, there are two PLL circuits in akula/Ruslan case:
One for series resonance circuit;
Second for Tesla coil.

Also the series resonance circuit is controlling ON/OFF state of resonant pulses for Tesla coil there...

Very relevant Grum!  Thanks for posting.

There is a Ruslan video where he is passing his hand over the Tesla antenna.  The lights dim just slightly.  After seeing TK's video, now I know exactly what he was testing--the addition of a PLL/VCO compensator to his circuit design.  This makes his setup far more robust, but it also means the PLL/VCO is not required for the basic affect.  It's only if you make slight changes will you lose resonance.  With the PLL/VCO, the system is far more tolerant to slight changes.

   In one of Ruslan's previous videos, he placed his hand on the antenna, and there was NO change.
That always made me wonder, how come? And now on his last video he does change the scope readings by touching the kacher's secondary coil.
  I also think that although frequency and voltage controls are important to maintain a steady state, the actual extra energy effect should be noticed even without them. PLL should be available to be purchased commercially, as well.
  As time goes on, I think that we'll see that this Akula/Ruslan device can be built using off the shelf components, and ready made ocillator circuits, including PWM, stabilizer, 24v 15A power supply, etz... without having to build our own, to make this work.
