Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Image 2, zoom with a small percent duty cycle, and
...and how does it look when you just load the output of the TC4220 with a non-inductive resistor around 4Ω, instead of the primary of the GDT ?

I didn't test it this way but with secondary disconnected, it is clean without ringing. Do you think it will be better with 15V? Tomorow i hope i will test some more toroids, and probably i will go to less than 2uH.

Do you find a good idea at the output of 4420 to use a clamp with two diodes to limit it at the 12V level?

NickZ

Thanks for the updates guys, good to see that there are still guys working on all this stuff.
We'll see if there are any positive results obtained from these various circuits, especially if they will allow their device to self run.

I have ordered most of the important components to build up a Fet driver/TL494 circuit board(s), to follow along.
I also like the idea of making just a single board for both the induction circuit, and the Kacher circuit, as well.
So, that both circuits are on a single board... less clutter...

On my circuit, I added a second full bridge rectifier onto the output to the bulbs (3 100w) from the 3 turn/cap circuits. That rectifier had the effect of changing my yoke's running frequency, in such a way that it's beyond the point where I can now adjust or control the frequency. Which previously I had done by using a magnet on the yoke, and adding ferrite into the grenade core.
So, now those methods are very limited as far as what I can do using them. But, I am still at it, until my new parts that I've ordered will get to me, after the first week in Jan.

However, I'm still very interested in also following up on the Roma type device, which has possible relations to the Kapanadze type device . And also, due to it's simplicity.  The "effect" must be there, and without all the complicated components, to still be able to obtain the same 4000w output. There are some Russian guys still working on getting their system to work for them.
We'll see how they make out with it.  As it looks like they are about the only ones with the mentality to,  "get the job done".

conico

NickZ, can you give me a link or a diagram of that Roma device  ?

Faster - yes, but it will not help with the ringing.

How much ringing is there without the GDT, anyway? ...with the TC4402 driving the gate directly (with minimal drain voltage) ?
Make a macro photo (or drawing) of the winding layout of your GDT if you want me to help you improve it.
