has anybody tried the crystal blinking light 9 mhtz uhilst the mix is setting asuell as the polarization i kno that john experimented ith koolau basalt early on and so have i it does produce a small charge ithout anything added to it mabye adding this to a cell or a rock basalt core and putting tungsten carbide and btitanate might produce something interesting also i heard that john had tried a ne approach to cell making suing only ionized uater or de-ionized uater and btitanate along uithhigh voltage and sighnuaves like sautooth and upto around 18mghtz

The crystal cell seemed to respond to frequency quite well. At about 19 Megahertz the L.E.D. got dimmer, but when I lowered the frequency to around 11-13 Megahertz, it got much brighter. Brighter than without the signal generator being attached. Also, something I thought was quite
weird, if I start at 1 hertz then go up, the blinking of the l.e.d. follows of course, it blinks faster and faster, until you reach a high enough frequency, and can't see the blinking anymore with your eye. But, at exactly 9597.46 Hertz, it suddenly starts blinking at an easily visible rate, if you move the frequency the slightest bit away from 9597.46 Hertz, then it speeds up again and you can't see the blinking. I'm not sure what that means. I welcome any ideas from anyone.

I think your are creating a beat frequency between generator and
the JT's natural resonance frequency.

Congrats on the light, I love it.
I would love to see this light documented on it's own
video web site like DAS once suggested on this thread.

One thing though, Capacitors should not be changed beyond
their working voltage by any amount. Called WVDC. Supercaps
have a WVDC printed on them also. With Free energy devices, you have
to watch to be sure that any WVDC is never exceeded. Supercaps
are like batteries and they could "Vigorously Disintegrate" if
they are overchanged and FE devices can do that over a long
period of time. Consider using a correctly directed zener diode
across the battery to limit the amount of overcharge voltage.

You're right, I meant Kilo-hertz, sorry about that! I think I need to eliminate the joule thief for frequency experiments, and see if it has any effect on just the cell. I was trying to have something visual to watch as I cycled frequencies, so I used the L.E.D. But I think your right, the joule thief is probably affecting the results. I'm glad you like the light! Many thanks for your gracious words. I'm gonna mess with it for awhile, and see if it keeps working. A crystal cell experimenters website does sound like a nice idea. I am actually a bit concerned about the super cap voltage like you mentioned, it's rated at 2.3 volts, and I think the joule thief is outputting more than that, I might go back and make some "modifications"...to avoid that "vigorous disintegration",  you mentioned.

I took another look at the Lepidolite cell today, and I found out why it died. It has corroded straight through the container, it has a hole in the zinc, and white crystals have grown on the outside. So apparently that mixture isn't the way to go!
