@Core  I'm happy for us to have different opinions, its a forum, I didn't expect to agree with everyone, but your abridged reply is terse, some might say a little rude. I would have appreciated a referenced counter argument.  Rolling your eyes and saying no does not constitute much of a reply.

  I already posted a reply to your whole 'Copy/Paste' monologue. You did not like the response that both Don and I gave. You immediately thought we where stupid and that we needed your 'abridged version' to understand. My answer is still 'No'.

  What happens is this. When your mind can't figure out what is going on it automatically starts to compare it with 'things' it already knows. You and others refuse to realize truth. Since the 1950's to present day there have been literally thousands upon thousands of Tesla coils made. Just Google Tesla coil. These coils have been made by expert craftsman who took every detail into account. There is NOT ONE TESLA COIL, however professionally tuned, that has even yielded a hint to gaining free energy. NOT ONE! Why is this reality so hard to understand? Do you see how your monolog amounts to nothing but regurgitated words that do not add any substance to the subject of the thread.

  Let me ask you a question, I assume you already researched Tariel's device and have viewed the YouTube video's.

Well this is where you start. This is a hard starting point for many people, if not all of use, because our minds refuses to re-discover a reality that it spent a lifetime creating. So many people have viewed Tariel's 'Green box' video, his first device, and automatically assumed Tesla coil. This happened because our eyes saw copper tubing wrapped around a coil and our mind then created the only reality it knows refusing to accept anything else. It is that same thought process that prompted the quote by the member above. The mind, simple refusing, quitting on you, to see the whole picture.

  I now challenge anybody, on any forum, to show me a Tesla coil that has the 'spark gap' wire running 'inside' the copper tubing. If you know of such a Tesla device please post information regarding it. If you do not believe go back and view the video. Tariel is extremely clever. The color of the wires, off the spark gap, are not by accident but by design. It is difficult to see the green wire against the green box. Also it is difficult to see a blue wire against a blue taped coil. So the closed mind will see a Tesla coil, this is the reality that Tariel attempts to create for you. The keen observer will see a completely different world with greater options.

  I ask again show me a Tesla device that has the spark gap wire running inside the copper tubing. Do I have any takers?

@ baroutologos - I'll have to look up the exact references in my books. I'm sure the partially evacuated tube(s) was described in "The Inventions, Researcher and Writings of NT" by TCM in the chapters about his HV HF lectures though the exact wavelength references I think I read in some articles I cross referenced.

   Woahhh, Core!  Wow, I didn't expect that kind of reply, I wouldn't be blowing you a big kiss if I was enraged with your response, please take that as read!  If I am incorrect, I would GENUINELY appreciate (a few more) of your words to the wise.

There simply isn't any space in the long essay for there to be any more words between the lines!  I can assure you, there was no intent to offend, I'm sorry you feel impuned and I'm really taken aback by your last response.

I had collated papers to support my case, mostly outside of the many usual Tesla sources, in an attempt to tie 'conventional' to what is sometimes perceived as 'alternative' or 'fringe'.  Your first response to the (regrettably over-long) post was a fair point, I didn't want such a long post but trimming any out may have missed a relevant point.  I thought any criticism that you (or anyone else) have, would be measured.

Any paper that is submitted would be subject to review.  That isn't possible in the same way on a forum as we're not all experts but we can abide by the same sort of conduct associated with scientific peer review.  Saying first that my explanation is too complicated (probably true) and then just replying with a 'no' was not in this spirit of peer review and certainly isn't in the spirit of forums.

I thought I was taking an open minded approach, by suggesting a possible explanation for the magnifier actually lies in conventional, well documented AC and RF theory.  I will now try to answer your criticisms, where I can, without personal comments.  I ask that your subsequent replies are similarly offence free.

I thought I was clear in stating this was my interpretation, with references to support that interpretation.  I never claimed it as truth or fact, it is my suggestion, that is all.  That is not having a closed mind, or being blinded by what my eyes see, any brick wall in my head nor a refusal to recognise anything else.

You interpreted my subsequent posts as enragement, your words, not mine.  It was difficult to read past the word no, as aside from your respect, there was no more.  I interpreted this curt response as rather off colour.  I thought that if you disagreed with my interpretation, you would state the reasons why.

Back in the early days of this thread others quoted that Kapanadze's and Smith's inspiration was Tesla. Patrick Kelly's Chapter 3 on Smith also states his device as being a Tesla Coil.  It is my opinion (not fact or my unbending belief, as you imply) that Tesla's early radio, the TC and the magnifier in fact, one and the same, in principle, even though they vary in construction detail and application.  I referenced the Corum's paper that discuss the 'true' TC as being akin to a cavity resonator and transmission line theory was the best way to model it, just as it is applied to antenna theory.

I posted the abridged version because the original was so long and wordy, not as some sort of snub or attempt to question your intelligence!  The abridged version was from my post from some time in the past, where I had tried to shorten the explanation to remove the chance of misinterpretation.

I don't suppose that every expert craftsman who made a Tesla Coil over the last century had the express intention of creating an 'over unity' device.  I'm guessing that most of them wanted to recreate the spectacular high voltage lightning display that Tesla demonstrated, and why not?   It is my opinion that relatively few of them saw the real potential of the device (no pun intended) and that fewer still succeeded. 

I cannot justify the claim that every coil builder achieved over unity any more than you can justify the claim that they have not.

I also don't suppose that every time copper pipe is wrapped around copper wire that it is a Tesla Coil.  I'm sure there are many other electronic components like that.  Your words, not mine.

If my posts are regurgitated versions of previous posts on this or other sites, feel free to quote them on here for all to see and compare.  I'm not claiming this as my idea, nor that I have any great insight.  Surely I made that very, very clear in my long post.

If you have misgivings about Tariel's construction, that isn't down to me or any of the references I have quoted.  If that is the case, it seems unwise, all advice I have seen on building coils has stated that no wire or metal should pass down the centre of the secondary coil.  I have always understood it to be an air cored device.  Tariel may have decided to throw in a few curveballs to keep others guessing, just as Smith appears to have done too.
