I dunno if that is correct but sounds accurate more mass falls in less time is it possible that we could create lightning by dropping large amounts of water from high altituides? There is more to it while not relevant I suppose.

I am curious as IST's relation to nature how does his device show what naturally occurs in nature?

I'm all for magnetic quenching in spark gaps, but I wonder in this case if the magnetic field of the neos in ist's demo is doing what we might think it is. Have you been able to rule out a contribution to the appearance of the spark from the nickel coating of the magnets, or more likely from the sintered NdFeB material itself, which is quite flammable?
It would be interesting to see the demo, with a comparison between the neos as shown, and some just nickel, and some unmagnetized or demagnetized NdFeB blanks. Then we might be able to judge how important the various variables are to the result.

Why something "shining" got to be over unity.
I guess it just defines state of mind.
Maybe it is just something of LRC circuit ?
