That video is just 3 days old. The last one he made. But I really think it is not as much important. More important is to have properly working Katcher on the frequency of bifillar. And if it will work 1.6,1.8 or 2MHz , doesn't matter.

I would eppriciate if someone can share his knowledge how to make katcher. I found and builded as at sketch below. But it doesn't seems to be strong enough to power my Tesla coil from bigger distance to secondary.  It draws around 1.5 -2 Amps at 24V. Did anybody did successfully same or different type of driver with perfect sine output? How long should be the primary?? 1/4 of secondary as in Don Smith devices?  And how long should be the second antenna above "grenade"coil?   Thank you.

For kacher primary, you can use 3 turns. For secondary, you can wound with 0.8 mm wire, to get with antena 1.6 megaherc frenquency. On output secondary must be sine. Not mater how long is primary of kacher. Also no mater how long must be antena above granade coil, just 5-6 turns.

  What this all means to me, and which also makes a lot of sense...  is that one is now tuning for "Earth Resonance Frequency", and our coils have to be in sync with the best harmonics of that main resonant earth pulse. That is also what has been mentioned and implied all along, since Kapandze's very first device. Which by the way, I also don't think that he made himself, or any subsequent devices. And is the real reason  he never ever shown his actual work place.
Time will tell...

  My device is working now, as far as I've gotten it. By using the IRF234B mosfets, which I removed from a monitor pcb, instead of using the previous IRFP260N. These smaller fets are also 200v, but only 8- 9A, instead of 30A. And these don't work anywhere close to the same as what the IRF260 can do.  Although they do work. But, they not only just give lower output to the bulbs, but tuning them is also very different. 
   So, what I'm seeing is that the best type of mosfet to use, may depend on the particular set up. But, different mosfets can have very different results, even when every thing else is the same.
  I've place my fets on the european type terminal connectors now, for easy quick removal and replacement. This also allows for quick testing of different transistors.

NickZ  You are partially correct  about Kapanadze.


He outsources all the individual components of his device.
However Kapanadze (and I suspect the moustache guy) are the only 2 who know how
his device works.
KApanadze assembles the final product himself and (as he told me) makes ONE component himself.
I suspect that the "component" is the grenade coil.

Yeah what came out. There was a further question to Ruslan. He says in his video that inductor garnet has a length exactly half the length of the wire from a grenade while in scheme 2 layer is drawn everywhere. If you take the wire of the same cross section, which is wound around a pomegranate, it fits in a 3 (!) layer but does not 2. The video looks Ruslan inducer diameter approximately as the 4th layer grenades, and I have bulges on one layer ... So here's the question of cross-section wire to wind the inductor garnet and how many layers? How should the wire length corresponds grenades and inductor (or the approximate ratio of the number of turns)?

hi Coil,

This is the most professional built kapanadze winding i have ever seen.It looks like the the plastic parts are done with 3D printing to hold the outer coil.

But the "primary winding which covered the entire length of tesla coil" revealed that this good person did not have any real or former experience with building a tesla coil.
