Now me:  we can or do not need to agree here. Personally it sounds a strange to me too. For example my "grenade" coil shows on scope max peak at 680 KHz  With respect to my wire length it should be 1.8MHz- but - Ruslan is the one who has a functional device and I can't to complain to him, so I forgot about that 680KHz and will tune Tesla coil to 1.8 MHz.

My point of view is that coil has its wave length on which it resonates no matter what. And no matter how strong or in what rhythm you will " beat it" it will still resonate in its natural  frequency.  yes- considering tank circuits you are right and the mutual capacitance, inductance and other factors play the role here . But I am not sure if this is the case here with respect to what Ruslan said.

Here are links to technical book site, (russian, use translator) if any of you are not familiar with it.  Chapter 28 is the basis for the Ruslan device, he got his theory from these three chapters, that include Kapagen device.. Chapter 28 will give you the understanding on the principle of the coil saturation. It is VERY IMPORTANT, for the Ruslan device...

Base on my earlier posting in the day.

I have assembled a 1.06uf LOW ESR capacitor ( Polypropylene)which is used in induction heating.The capacitor voltage rating is 1200VDC and the A/C is 800Volts little better than than the WIMA 0.47uf MKP10 at 2000VDC at 700Volts A/C.Since we are working with high voltage A/C here.

The principle of the device  is the "reflection of a standing wave" by earth ground or solid object?
Is my understanding correct?

Thanks Mag. The caps 2 x 20uF were delivered within a week from Bulgaria! Good service now that Bulgaria is in the EC. Excellent value at £14 incl P&P. Lots of good buys on the internet from outside the UK, as prices where possible are kept below the import duty threshold.
