What I meant I used a third motor to spool up this 2 motor assembly. Anything from few hundred to 4000 rpm and yet it just drops dead once I let driving motor go..

I also used a scope to observe activity in coils - all I can see is 60hz induced 2-4 VAC  independant from system RPM. This induced voltage seem to be absorbed from driving motor (third motor) field because it disappears once I disconnect it even though system is still freewheeling. I have 2 more pairs  but no pulleys just yet.
I strongly believe this is a hoax with AC transmitter in close proximity. I would say one rev it up to several thousand  excite induction cores to create some sort of field to interact it would make sense... but now only finger started? Really? I would say there is transmitting field not sufficient enough to start motor on its own but with little push there is enough power in the air to make it spin for the camera... but then that mysterious light bulb seems to eat some wattage so it really confuses me
